..am i wasting my time on you..

whats the world coming too
11.30.04 (4:56 pm)   [edit]

oh priceless..

my friend was in the drug store yesterday and there was a little 5 year old boy walking around with a string hanging out of his mouth. Finally, he pulled it out, and it was a tampon! His mother was like "Oh he does that all the time. He likes it." Yep, and that mother definitely has issues if she lets her son do that. The girl behind the counter told my friend that the mother was in there buying makeup for the little boy last week. I swear, some people shouldn't reproduce

you know your in rochester when..
11.28.04 (2:51 pm)   [edit]

YOU KNOW YOU'RE IN ROCHESTER WHEN:

1) "Waking up with the Wease" doesn't mean you have a respiratory
infection.
2) The thought of eating a "garbage plate" makes your mouth water.
3) The worst four-letter word you could say is "Fuji."
4) Soccer games have a better attendance that baseball games.
(Anyone want to go to a Rhinos game sometime? We have never been. -- K&E)
5) You can't swim at the beach.
6) You thought you finally figured out that alternate-parking
thing, but wind up with a ticket anyway.
7) Toronto is about 70 miles away, but it takes about 4 hours to
get there.
8) Half the people bring their dogs to festivals and the other half complain about it.
9) The name "Greater Rochester Airport" is bigger that the airport
itself.
10) There's an 800 number for a pothole in the road.
11) City planners begin yet another feasibility study, in lieu of
actually doing anthing.
12) You know that the "Can of Worms" is not something to take fishing.
13) Your baby's first word is "Wegmans."
14) Your ask lifetime residents where the George Eastman house is, but they don't know either.
15) In a city where it snows at least 80 inches a year, they build a new
sports stadium with no roof on it.
16) It can be 90 degrees one day, below freezing the next, and you think nothing of it.
17) Your mother is buying outfits to wear to Wegmans.
18) You try to go out to dinner at 8:30 and everything's already closed.
19) They build a new store right in front of a vacant one of the same
size.
20) Your low-fat diet is never low enought to exclude an Abbot's
custard.
21) You can travel from Egypt to Greece in about a half hour by car.
22) D&C is a newspaper, not a medical procedure.
23) You've talked about leaving this dump for about 10 years and you're
still here, because despite all there is to poke fun at, Rochester isn't a bad place to live.

haha i thought that was cute..
im so not wanting to go back to school..everrr! this 5 day recess ended too fast...AHHHHHHHH

quote:Take Away
I hate myself I hate what i see
I see years of imperfection I cannot look at me
Inside im broken, torn from all these fears
I cannot take it any longer im sick of crying all my tears
I see the nothingness that has taken over my life
I step to the kitchen and take out a knife
try to save me it will be too late
too many days of anger too many nights of hate
I look at the sky waiting for this pain to dissapear
the blood trickling down my wrist i kno the end is near
Im turning numb and i just wanted to say
My soul is already gone there's nothing more you can take away

oh my gosh, joe nichols. im so into him at the moment..ever since i saw him in concert. hes so good. and not to mention hottie falottie 101.

 here he is..

and here he is very cronked at the concerts autograph session

and heres some lyrics to one of his songs, its a good one

Brokenheartsville

-Joe nichols

He wore that cowboy hat
To cover up his horns
Sweet talkin' forked tongue
Had a tempting charm
Before I turned around
That girl was gone
All I can say is
Bartender pour me something strong

chorus:Here's to the past
They can kiss my glass
I hope she's happy with him
Here's to the girl
Who wrecked my world
That angel who did me in
I think the devil
Drives a Coup de Ville
I watched him drive away over the hill
Not against her will
And I've got time to kill
Down in Brokenheartsville

It was long and chrome
Sittin' in the lot
Fire engine red
That thing was hot
He reved it up
She waved goodbye
Love's gone to hell
And so have I

Chorus(2 times)

11.16.04 (12:02 pm)   [edit]

i saw this movie a couple weeks back, but i have nothing else to write and havent had a review in awhile, so here it goes..

©Sony PicturesIf there was ever a time i felt like pooping in my hand and throwing it at the screen this would be it. I cant be positive but this movie was probably made in about 36 hours. That's the only explanation, they had to film it all in one take. Not a scary movie, little japanese boy makes cat noises and is blue, hmm. I'm just not really sure who thought this would be a good idea, but can we say knock off from the ring and darkness falls. Oh no theres a spooky noise in the creepy houses attic, any jackass that has a brain knows that if theres a spooky noise in the attic dont go check it out, but the poor retarded house keeper girl goes in anyway only to get her jaw ripped off...oh so predictable.oh and i loved the noise the "ghost" made, quite annoying. "Before you die, You hear the burp" it sounded lliek the thing was a god damn frog...my point is, dont waste your money on this movie, wait for video then u can be letdown for $4 cheaper. and for those of you who have seen it, im sorry.

yea so yesterday i was sitting here my computer room, about to blog when all of a sudden i hear my friends yelling and running in here with stockings and masks on their heads..for a second i just kinda looked at them and started laughing, they grabbed me and blindfolded me. they were trying to kidnap me, i couldnt help but laugh. so anyways, im in the car to the mystery location. when they stop and say get out, im blindfolded remember, so i step out and BOOM fell, right in the middle of the street for all of the world to see. haha. so they take me in and sit me down on a massaging chair..and then they took the blindfold off and WOO! i was getting my nails done, manicure and pedicure. how purrtyfull they look. then when i was done i was blindfolded and taken back to my house, and i walked in my backroom and it was all decorated pretty with a table in the middle with a heart shaped ice cream cake on it with 16 candles. they sang and we ate. then i was blindfolded once again, and taken to the best place on earth. CHUCKIE CHEESE! talk about fun. omg i love it there and amazing pizza might i add, we had so much fun. i love you girls! leash foof n jaclyn, thansk for an awesoem birthday.

i havent really been posting in awhile. well, nothing really that was going on with my life. its really different then in the summer...in the summertime it seems liek i have so much more to write and more of a life. i mean now adays its just sleep school eat cheer, and its like one continuous cycle. by the time i get to the weekends im either too exhausted to do anything or i just do things to say i did, even though all i want to do is lay around in my pajamies all day. i love just being alone. all alone in my house with no one near me to bother me, i can really think and do the things i want to do. like writing. i dont know im lacking something in my life, i need someone to make me do things now adays, and im just waiting for them to come along. until then, its the normal routine. but they better come soon, because im slowly sinking, and idk if ill ever be able to come out alive.

Bush: 'America has spoken'
vert.bush.victory.jpg
Kerry concedes; Cheney says president has mandate in victory

BOSTON, Massachusetts (CNN) -- President Bush declared victory in his race for re-election Wednesday, telling his cheering supporters that "America has spoken."

"America has spoken, and I'm humbled by the trust and the confidence of my fellow citizens," Bush said. "With that trust comes a duty to serve all Americans. And I will do my best to fulfill that duty every day as your president."

Bush became the first presidential candidate since his father in 1988 to win with more than 50 percent of the vote. (Special Report: America Votes 2004)

Vice President Dick Cheney, who introduced Bush, said voters gave the president a mandate.

"We've worked hard and gained many new friends, and the result is now clear: a record voter turnout and a broad, nationwide victory," Cheney said.

Bush praised John Kerry and said the Massachusetts senator and his supporters should be proud of their spirited campaign.

About an hour before Bush made his speech, Kerry conceded defeat to President Bush and asked the country to put aside the bitter divisions of the election.

"I spoke to President Bush and I offered him and Laura our congratulations on their victory," Kerry said in a speech to a cheering crowd in Boston.

"We talked about the division in our country and the need, desperate need, for unity. ...Today, I hope we can begin the healing."

Kerry said he was giving up any plans to challenge the vote count in Ohio, where the tally is incomplete.

"In America, it is vital that every vote count, and that every vote be counted. But the outcome should be decided by voters, not a protracted legal process. I would not give up this fight if there was a chance that we would prevail," Kerry said.

CNN now projects Bush will win Ohio's 20 electoral votes, giving the president 274 -- he needed 270 to win re-election. (Small inroads make difference for Bush)

Kerry called Bush at his Oval Office desk about 11:02 a.m. ET, White House spokesman Scott McClellan said.

Republicans also added to their majorities in the House and Senate, where they knocked off the Democrats' minority leader, Tom Daschle of South Dakota. The GOP was on its way to a net gain of at least three Senate seats.

Other key Republican takeovers were in Louisiana, where Rep. David Vitter became the state's first GOP senator since Reconstruction, and in Florida, where Mel Martinez defeated Betty Castor to take retiring Democratic Sen. Bob Graham's seat.

With 98 percent of precincts reporting, CNN is projecting that incumbent Republican Lisa Murkowski will defeat former Democratic Gov. Tony Knowles for the Senate seat.

In the House, Republicans were on their way to a net gain of at least four seats, including a pickup of five Democratic seats in Texas, where a redistricting plan pushed by House Majority Leader Tom DeLay redrew the state's map to make it more Republican-friendly. (Senate, House)

Democrats had few bright spots: Melissa Bean defeated longtime GOP Rep. Phil Crane, the Republicans' longest-serving congressman, in Illinois, and in Colorado, rancher John Salazar won out over orchard owner Greg Walcher in their House race.

In Georgia, attorney John Barrow knocked out incumbent GOP Rep. Max Burns.

On the Senate side, Illinois state Sen. Barack Obama won by a large margin over Republican Alan Keyes. And Democratic Attorney General Ken Salazar won in Colorado over Republican beer magnate Pete Coors.

Ballot measures

Voters in 11 states passed ballot measures barring same-sex marriages, but opponents already were preparing countermeasures.

Initiatives banning same-sex marriage and/or civil unions that appeared on ballots in Arkansas, Georgia, Kentucky, Michigan, Mississippi, Montana, North Dakota, Ohio, Oklahoma, Oregon and Utah passed overwhelmingly in each.

Lambda Legal Defense Fund, a gay-rights advocacy group, said Wednesday that it is awaiting certification of the elections but is preparing lawsuits seeking to nullify the results.

California voters, who faced 16 statewide ballot measures, passed a measure to establish a constitutional right to conduct research using stem cells and to authorize $3 billion for such research.

A ballot measure approving the use of marijuana for medical reasons was passed in Montana.

Colorado voters rejected a proposal to change its winner-take-all system to allocated electoral votes for presidential candidates.

A Florida measure to require parental notification before minors can obtain an abortion was passed.

Gambling was another hot ballot issue, with six states deciding 13 measures.

CNN's John King, Suzanne Malveaux and Kelly Wallace contributed to this report.

my only political post
11.02.04 (1:53 pm)   [edit]

yes election day has finally come, after all this talk about kerry and bush, it will finally be over soon.

my opinion..........bush should win, america would be stupid to change the pres in the middle of the war. specially to this idiot
grrr.. Kerry...His consistent claim that Pres. Bush misinterpreted the Iraq threat, concerning weapons of mass destruction, to lead the US to war....when the hell did the war power become a presidential decision? If I’m not mistaken ...Bush actually had no vote to yaa or nahh the Iraq war. I believe it was on David Letterman that Kerry was asked "if you were president in 2000 would we be in Iraq today?" and his response was no...ummm excuse me he looked at the same intelligence as President Bush and voted for the use of force...Therefore we would be fighting Iraq today if he were pres in 2000.  THIS RIGHT HERE, HIS FLIP FLOPPING..i cant stand it, he needed to stop saying what the peopel want, and start saying what he believes in and what he will do in office! another example, kerry  says that there were never any weapons of mass destruction. well then he turns around and says that bush failed to protect the missing explosives that could be used for weapons of mass destruction..WHAT THE FUCK? can we make up our mind please? yea we caught u..we know what ur doing, GIVE IT UP ALREADY!
& nbsp; Could you imagine if we did not confront the Iraq problem, I mean we knew for a fact that Saddam was paying suicide bombers and what not but man it would have been devistating if we didnt solve the problem.
I think that the next time John Kerry tells us that Terrorism is not a major issue facing the US today..uhmm member that date..uhmm what was it? oh yea 9/11/2001..this right here..we lost far more than the sum of the soldiers. John Kerry..just you look into the eyes of a parent who lost their children in the schools or look into the eyes of a child who lost a parent on the sidewalk or working in downtown New York and tell them there’s no threat. And now think long and hard whether your internationalizing this problem is really a good idea.
now personally i love kerrys 4-point plan, ya know the one to take care of iraq?.......ya know..that plan that he refused to tell anyone? YEA THAT ONE..i love that plan..because i know exactly what he means and what his plans are in the future.......... ./end sarcasm

GODD........im all worked up now...i hope everyoen who could voted today, and voted for who YOU thought was right, this is my opinion.

CONGRATS!

well, i have always been a yankees fan and stood by my team, beating boston year after year, with those 4 exceptions to that. yet most of you are fans because their rebels, others because of the excitement of the once known curse and others because they play good baseball, whatever the reason is in these 3 miserable generations for you, you havent backed down. every game you filled Fenway up to show your support. You have stuck with your team no matter what. i totally admire your devotion and loyalty to your team.

finally you had a boston team to really cheer for, these guys went in their knowing they could do this with Pedro, Johnny Damon, David Ortiz, Curt Schilling..the team together was impecable..unstoppable. no one deserves this more then you do.

as the boston fans usually said, Wait 'til next year. well next year has finally come. Congratulations on your victory and treasure the moment when the pennet is raised on the flagpole at fenway opening day. because you never know, it just might be another 86 years
You have earned it, and you certainly deserve it. congrats

what would you say if i asked you not to go
to forget everyone, forget everything and start over with me
would you take my hand and never let me go
promise me you'll never let me go

and the stars aren't out tonight,
but neither are we to look up at them
why does hello feel like goodbye?
these memories can't replace,
these wishes i wished and these dreams i chased
take this broken heart and make it right

i feel like i've lost everything when you're gone
left remembering what it's like to have you here with me
i thought you should know,
you're not making this easy

i never thought i'd be the one to say
please don't, well please don't leave me

i feel like i've lost everything when you're gone
left remembering what it's like to have you here with me
i thought you should know,
you're not making this easy

you're not making this easy... (easy, easy, easy...)

take my hand and never let me go,
take my hand and never let me go,
promise me...you'll never let go
you'll never let go
you'll never let go
you'll never let go
make this last forever

i feel like i've lost everything when you're gone
left remembering what it's like to have you here with me
i thought you should know, you're not making this easy

you're not making this easy

you're not making this easy
you're not making this easy

i'll fall asleep tonight, cause that brings me closer to you

boston n yanks
10.22.04 (3:47 pm)   [edit]

"the fact of the matter is that the yanks have ALWAYS beaten the Red Sox because we have ALWAYS been the better team. It was gutsy and sadly historic, so as much as it kills me, congrats. Now, you can experience the pressure of upholding excellence while being the hunted..cursed. For all of your soxies, you in all honesty have a long way to go before you can even dream ofcomparing your resume to ours. true we collapsed and there is no way around it but I assure you we will be back.

The breakdown in pitching in the ALCS was not news. Our pitching was shaky, at best, all season long, yet we still had the second best record in baseball, and we STILL won the division, and we STILL got to the ALCS.

The Red Sox fans have been in misery for a very long time. Most of their fans were BORN into this misery because of the longevity of their failure. A good percentage of the Red Sox trolls over here have NO idea what the longtime Red Sox fans have gone through over the years. Heartbreaking year after heartbreaking year.

Maybe this is the year they FINALLY win, maybe not. They will rub the "breakdown" in our faces whether they win the Series or not. This is what they are used to. Finding a nugget of hope, or in this case, a nugget of smack to inflict upon us to make up for the 1918 chants, the bucky-babe-buckner-boone chants, and so on.

OUR TEAM CHOKED. There is no way to change that. Speaking of chokers....1946....1967....1975....1986. The newest chapter in Red Sox novel will be written very soon....lett the Red Sox fans continue to focus on the Yankees, and that IS what they are still doing. They will continue to feel the burden of losing to us, EVEN THOUGH they beat us this year. It is in their blood.

If they want to think that this victory changes a lot of things, let them. Deep down they STILL obsess on us, they STILL know we are THE greatest sports team in the history of sports and they know MORE THAN ANYONE ELSE that we will be looking to pound them back into reality starting next April.

George will make some huge moves, we will pound the heck out of everyone, and the Red Sox fans will go back to whining about our payroll, how we BUY championships, the steroids, the fist pump, the a-rod is a h0mo jokes, the anti Yankee web sites and ALL the trash talk that they are SOOOOO used to.

The ONLY thing that will be different is that they will smack talk with "how we lost with a 3-0 lead". So frickin' what!!! Year in and out we get to experience what THEY get to experience once in a blue moon. OUR owner does EVERYTHING he can to make sure we have a GREAT team to root for.

Let them enjoy their "time in the sun". Deep inside, they KNOW that this may be the LAST for a long, long, looooong time. But then.......the FAMILIAR is comfortable for them.

And Red Sox fans, who will try to tear me up on this, enjoy yourselves. If I sound bitter.....I am. But EVERYTHING writen is true.....isn't it? YOU know it, I know it and ANYONE who follows baseball knows it.

You’re in, yes, but we have ALWAYS owned you and we ALWAYS will.

2005.....it's coming fast!!!"

ah dont ya love people..

for one its a god damn game, its only fun when your joking around, he obviously takes this shit too far. if he had any common sense at all he would know the yankees dont suck, and that teams have off days and sometimes just lose it. it happens..its a game. i dont go aroudn sayign sox suck and mean it, there a very talented team..obviosuly this year there very good. but wouldnt u be making jokes on the yankees if they lost 86 years in a row..common now..ik u haters could have a grand time with that.

but can i just say, the sox havent won anything yet..the real games start after tonites win by either astros or cardinals..

will the curse be broken? and will REAL history be made? hmm this should be interesting and very fun to watch..

personally..i think boston will blow it as they usually do..but will have to see now wont we

the curse of the bambino!
10.19.04 (4:03 pm)   [edit]

The Curse of the Bambino

"The inaugural 140-game season of the American League began on April 24, 1901. Boston's team was given the nickname "Americans" to differentiate them from the cross-town National League "Nationals." The press also dubbed them the Somersets, Plymouth Rocks, Collinsmen, Puritans and Pilgrims. Team owner John I. Taylor decided that, for the 1908 season, they would wear white uniforms with red stockings while playing at home. The name Boston Red Sox was born. Boston was the strongest team in the newly founded league, finishing first in six out of their first eighteen seasons. They appeared in five World Series between 1901 and 1918, winning all five.
In 1914, the Red Sox (now owned by Joe Lannin) purchased the contracts of Ernie Shore, Ben Egan and a young pitcher named George Herman Ruth from the minor-league Baltimore Orioles. Ruth went by the nickname "The Babe" or "The Bambino." He was brought up to Boston's major league team on July 11, 1914. That season, he appeared in four games with a 2-1 record. The Babe had eighteen wins for the Red Sox in 1915, and 23 in 1916. Boston won both years' World Series. Baseball writers anointed Ruth as one of the best lefthanders the game had ever known. On October 9, 1916, he pitched a fourteen inning complete game victory over the Brooklyn Dodgers in game two of the World Series.
In 1917, The Bambino led the league in shutouts (nine) and ERA (1.75), with a 24-13 record. Lannin sold the team to Harry Harrison Frazee at the end of 1917. Rosters were being decimated as players left to fight in World War I. Ruth helped by playing in the field (mostly in left) when he was not pitching. Despite batting in only 95 games, he hit the most home runs in the majors. He was on the mound for game one of the 1918 Fall Classic, where he pitched a complete game shut out to beat the Chicago Cubs 1-0. He would also get the win in game four of that series, helping the Red Sox defeat Chicago four games to two. Boston won three championships in The Babe's first four full seasons with the team.

In 1919, The Red Sox and Ruth could not agree on a contract; the Babe settled for $10000 per year (other top players in the league were earning upwards of $15000). In addition to earning only half of what he felt was appropriate, The Babe no longer wanted to pitch; Boston's new owner Harry Frazee and Ruth were not getting along. Babe Ruth hit a record 29 home runs, more than any other major league team. Prior to the 1920 season, Ruth was sold to Colonel Jacob Ruppert's New York Yankees for $100,000, plus a loan collateralized by Fenway Park. Ruth's .376 batting average, 54 home runs and 137 RBIs generated attendance of 1,289,422 fans in his first year with the Yankees. That was the first time in baseball history that a team's home attendance exceeded one million. This led to the construction of Yankee Stadium, "The House That Ruth Built." On July 12, 1921, Ruth broke Roger Conner's record for career home runs when he swatted his 137th off of St. Louis Browns pitcher Dixie Davis.

The Yankees continued to share the Polo Grounds with the New York Giants until 1923 (when Yankee Stadium opened). That year, Ruth (batting .393 with 41 home runs) led the Yankees to their first of a record twenty-six World Series Championships. The Babe hit his last three home runs (numbers 712, 713 and 714), while playing for the Boston Braves, in a game against Pittsburgh on May 25, 1935. He retired eight days later. The Bambino ranks among the best ever in dozens of hitting and pitching records. He was inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame, on February 2, 1936, as one of the five charter members. The other four were Ty Cobb, Walter Johnson, Christy Mathewson, and Honus Wagner.
Boston has appeared in only four World Series since 1918, losing each one in seven games. In 1946, they tied game seven in the top of the eighth against the Cardinals, but gave up the winning run in the bottom of the inning. Boston had a 3-0 lead in game seven of the 1975 Series, but ended up losing by one run to the Reds. They were one strike away from winning the 1986 Series four times in game six. The Red Sox then had a 3-0 lead going into the sixth inning of game seven, but gave up eight runs in the final three innings to lose the game. The Sox carried a three-run lead into the bottom of the eighth of game seven of the 2003 ALCS. They allowed New York to score three runs to tie the game. Then, the Yankees won on Aaron Boone's home run in the eleventh inning. The Red Sox lost by five runs to Cleveland in the 1948 American League tiebreaker. Thirty years later, Boston had a 2-0 lead until New York's Bucky Dent hit his infamous home run over the Fenway scoreboard in the seventh inning of the AL East tiebreaker. In 1949, they needed to win one of their two final games to win the American League (both against New York). They blew a 4-0 lead in the first game, and lost the second by a score of 5-3. Many consider Boston's performance after the departure of Babe Ruth to be attributable to "The Curse of the Bambino."

As a matter of fact, it has been

31450 days since the Red Sox last won the Series! That's a solid three generations of losing tradition...do you honestly think they will beat the yankees tonite or tomorrow? AT THE BRONX? common now, lets get real here..the sox always seem to let their fans down, why would they stop now?

To all the red sox fans.......*ahem*
I understand your anger, but you should not blame the Yankees for your teams faults! The most popular thing for Red Sox Fans to do is blame the Yanks for everything...they have more money, they have the best players.. Stop Blaming and pray that they start playing good baseball!
Once and for all the Boston Red Sox are indeed
cursed! From 1925-1932 the best they ever finished was
43.5 games out of first including losing 100 games in
1925-27,30,and 32. They stunk through the '20's through the
40's.1946 Pesky holds the ball ,Sox lose W.S. 1967 Sox fold
in W.S. 1972 final day Aparicio falls down 3 times
rounding 3rd,Sox miss playoffs.1975 Fisk throws ball away
Sox blow W.S. 1978 Bucky Dent kills the Sox with a
home run Sox choke and blow a 14 game lead as of July
20th (happy anniversary losers!) 1986 HAA HAA
Buckner.1995 Vaughn and Canseco combine for 0-24, Sox lose
again. They always will. If anyone doesn't believe in a
curse, I have 1 question....if they are not cursed, does
that mean that the Red Sox are really that terrible?
has to be 1 or the other. Yanks forever!

A logic problem:

A person finds themselves locked in a room with the following:

a gun
two bullets
a rattlesnake
a bengal tiger
and, a Red Sox fan

What should that person do?

Their first inclination would be, of course, to shoot the Red Sox fan twice. But, the correct response would be to shoot the snake and the tiger, leaving the Red Sox fan to suffer for another 86 years.

letter, winning, life
10.17.04 (7:06 pm)   [edit]

havent been blogging much at all..i really dont have much to say, or that i want to say. we had a very bad competition wednesday..2 mounts fell, we got liek 3rd...UGHHH...that was my first time losing on hilton..mmm didnt feel to good, so for fridays practice..before our next comp saturday. i decided to write a letter to the girls on our team to boost confidence..i thought id share the letter, seeing as i dont have much else to write..

To my team-mates,

This whole season has been one huge roller coaster. Working with new girls you’ve never met before, the familiar ones moving their way to varsity, and others, the whole concept is new to them. Fortunately, almost every team goes through each season facing these obstacles in their way.  Us? Were different, the first day of practice you could see how well we bonded. Coach put us with girls we had never seen before and told us to do this and do that. I never heard one complaint. We ALL did what we had to…together as one. Our hearts were truly set on a great season.

I recently came across this quote “There are no easy answers, nor an instant recipe for becoming a successful Cheerleader. Having the positive attitude and determination to make the most of every opportunity, and to create such opportunities, is the only way.  Success is being the best you can be, making full use of your talents, and enjoying what you do. Have confidence, for this enables you to perform up to your capabilities. It gives you the freedom to perform without the fear of failure and without holding back.” I read this and thought to myself, “wow, can this explain our team anymore?”

& nbsp; Our first competition as a team, I wish we could say we went out there and did the best we could. The adrenalin in each and every one of us was flowing to capacity. We went out there and did what we had to. Cheerleading is so much more then just doing what your told or what you’re given. Watching the tape over and over again I realized what we did wrong. It wasn’t our jumps, or the stunts or even that we weren’t as sharp as usual. The ONLY thing standing in our way was the heart and confidence that we showed on that first day of practice. Without this, we are nothing but a normal cheerleading squad. It kills me to think that because, I know were something more then that. There’s something special in each and every one of us, when you put that together our goals and dreams become reality.

Our first competition is over; it’s in the past. The only thing we need to remember is how we felt on the floor, and coming off of it. If you felt the same way I did then I know you’ll never want to feel that again. We are a team, were one. We go out on that floor and we defend our name, the Hilton Cadets. We wear our colors proud and show everyone that we LOVE what we do and that’s the only thing that matters. Even if the judges don’t put us on top, we will know that we did our best and it doesn’t matter what place you come in, or who beat you. Hard work doesn’t come easy and we’ve done our fair share of that, now lets prove it. Lets show them all what I know we have. And remember we are together, together as one.

I love you all, and I thank Coach for everything, as I’m sure every one of you does.

One of your captains, and teammate,

-Karylin

To forget everyone, forget everything and start over with me
Would you take my hand and never let me go
Promise me you'll never let me go

ur life is full of hurt and pain
all ur problems drive u insane.
No reason to sit and wait for the end
time after time getting hurt once again
dont cry out loud
just keep it inside and learn how to hide your feelings
..and if you should fall, remember you almost had it all.
Infinity is so damn sweet,
your mortal earth cannot compete.
